“With growing disposable income in our country, people are eager to mingle and have beautiful everyday experiences. This was the motivation behind Third Wave; to bring great local coffee and food together with architectural spaces that inspire, to create uplift in one space and in a way that India had never seen before.“
Third Wave coffee co-founder and CEO Sushant is a two-time entrepreneur who is passionate about building in and for India. After receiving his double major in Chemical Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University, Sushant turned down a job offer from consulting giant McKinsey to return to India and take part in the country’s start-up wave. In 2014, he started his entrepreneurial journey building Clustr, a SaaS data analytics tool for SMBs in India, which scaled to thousands of SMEs.
In 2017, Sushant co-founded Third Wave Coffee with his old friend from boarding school, starting in a small shop in Koramangala in Bengaluru. The quick serve coffee chain now has over 80 outlets in 8 cities, with plans to expand. Sushant is passionate about soccer and enjoys good South Indian breakfast.
