About Ayush
Third Wave Coffee co-founder Ayush’s love for coffee started in college where he began drinking a lot of it while coding away in the basement at university.
After graduation, Ayush moved to San Diego to work for Qualcomm where he started drinking a lot of good coffee at “third wave” coffee shops. Baristas spoke fondly about their relationships with farmers, and how a particular coffee had notes of jasmine and peaches.
This amazing vibe created by the people visiting the café and the coffee itself was something unique which he hadn’t seen at coffee shops back home. After returning to India and cofounding social networking site SocialCity, Ayush partnered up with his old boarding school friend Sushant Goel to bring this unique coffee experience back to India.
