About Akshat

Akshat Nayyar has over 15 years in the pharmaceutical and consulting sector. He earned his MBA from ISB, Hyderabad and undergraduate degree from NIT, Nagpur. After finishing his undergradwork , he moved to US to work in consulting that fulfilled two of his passions: travel and problem solving. Working with clients such as BMW and Rolls-Royce in US, he learned how innovation and great culture can produce excellence.

After moving back to India, Akshat worked as Head, Project Management Office for Abbott’s $1 billion pharmaceutical business. It was in this role he realized there was a major affordability gap in the healthcare value chain that no one is addressed. Seeing a need and an opportunity, he co-founded TrueMeds.
