Rajat Shikar
DealShare
“We started with very basic principles. One, that we didn't know anything about the customer. We knew we had to unlearn a lot of things. Two, we committed to trying to use whatever tools were available to us on the platform we were using for sales. These ideas guided our design — a super simple experience that gained immediate traction and resonated with audiences from day zero.“

About Rajat
Rajat got his start in IT services as a consultant for eBay, where he discovered his interest in e-commerce. Inspired by eBay’s scale, Rajat then set out to work in product at e-commerce companies Myntra, foodpanda and Jabong, among others.
Rajat launched several e-commerce ventures of his own, and in 2018 he started DealShare with his old friends and co-founders, serving as chief product officer.
In this role, he has interpreted and applied his experience working on urban-focused, e-commerce platforms for underserved rural markets, creating positive impact on a national scale.
Rajat is proud of DealShare’s rapid growth, but perhaps his proudest moment occurred this spring, when he expanded the service to his own hometown.
