About Abhinav

Abhinav Shashank was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and studied mechanical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. While working on a big data sharing project at Harvard and Wharton, he and his co-founders developed a way to use those tools to unify patient data across systems to improve clinical, operational and financial outcomes for patients, hospitals, healthcare partners and other stakeholders.

Shortly after, Innovaccer was founded and now serves a wide range of customers in healthcare, including hospitals, labs and pharmacies. Under Shashank’s leadership as CEO, the company has grown to over 1,400 employees, globally.

Shashank has published over 300 articles for global media outlets and was recognized in the Forbes “30 Under 30 Asia 2017: Enterprise Tech.” He lives in San Francisco with his wife where they enjoy the culture offered by the Bay Area and Napa Valley, as well as frequent travel.
