About Thierry
Thierry Vallet serves as a Director on the Board of WestBridge and brings over 25 years of experience in banking, financial services, corporate governance and strategic leadership.
Thierry holds an engineering degree and an MBA in International Finance from HEC Paris. He was a founding executive of AfrAsia Bank, where he spent 18 years and served as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in building the bank into one of Mauritius' leading international financial institutions, overseeing its growth across private banking, wealth management, corporate and investment banking, treasury and international business.
Over the course of his career, Thierry has worked closely with boards, regulators, shareholders and international stakeholders on matters relating to strategy, governance, risk management and capital allocation. He has extensive experience operating in regulated environments and leading organizations with international operations.
Thierry has served on the boards of several companies, bringing deep expertise in board oversight, strategic decision-making, governance, risk management and organizational transformation. His extensive leadership experience and strong understanding of financial services contribute meaningfully to WestBridge's governance and long-term strategic direction.
