WestBridge Anand Chess Academy (WACA)

In partnership with Chess Maestro and former 5-time World Champion, Grand Master Viswanathan Anand, WestBridge has created a platform to facilitate mentorship to both established and upcoming chess players, with the aim of producing more champions for India in the game of chess. WestBridge-Anand Chess Academy's founding mentor team includes GM Sandipan Chanda, GM Artur Yusupov, GM Grzegorz Gajewski and Boris Gelfand.

With mentoring from GM Anand and his team of experts, WACA aims to positively impact the lives of its fellows by providing the thrust to help them excel in the sport and rewarding them for their achievements.
